Standard Terms and Conditions of Purchase and Supply of TAI Hamburg GmbH & Co. KG. (Version 08/2025)
The supplier shall not use TAI Hamburg’s name, logo or project-related information for any public purpose without written permission.
1. Application and Scope
These Terms and Conditions apply to all purchase orders, contracts and deliveries agreed between TAI Hamburg GmbH & Co. KG and its suppliers. They apply to goods and services delivered by suppliers within the scope of procurement activities and in alignment with applicable aviation standards and customer-specific requirements. Any differing supplier terms are not binding unless explicitly accepted in writing by TAI Hamburg.
2. Definitions and Terminology

TAI Hamburg: TAI Hamburg GmbH & Co. KG, the purchasing party. From now on also referred as TAI Hamburg.

The individual or entity providing goods or services to TAI Hamburg.

Any item, component, material, software or service delivered.

A legally binding instruction issued by TAI Hamburg to the supplier.

Quality Management System (e.g. EN/AS 9100, ISO 9001 or equivalent).

Certificate of Conformity.
3. Quality Requirements
3.1 Quality Management Requirements
3.1.1 A certified QMS or an equivalent, if deemed acceptable by TAI Hamburg.
3.2 Counterfeit Parts Prevention
3.2.1 The Supplier shall implement and maintain a robust counterfeit parts prevention program. This program must ensure that parts are procured exclusively from Original Component Manufacturers (OCMs) or their authorized distributors, with full traceability maintained.
3.2.2 Any suspect or confirmed counterfeit parts are prohibited from inclusion in any deliverable and must be immediately quarantined and reported to TAI Hamburg.
3.3 Product Safety
3.3.1 Products must conform to specification, be free from defects and accompanied by complete documentation, including CoC if applicable.
3.3.2 Suppliers must conduct root cause analysis in the event of non-conformities and submit root-cause analysis reports upon request.
3.3.3 TAI Hamburg may reject non-conforming goods, demand rework or terminate the relationship in case of repeated findings.
3.3.4 All relevant quality records must be stored securely and remain accessible for a minimum of 10 years, unless specified otherwise.
4. Audit Rights
TAI Hamburg, its customers or regulatory authorities reserve the right to audit and inspect the supplier’s facilities, process, documentation and quality management system with reasonable notice. The supplier shall provide full access and cooperation. This includes the right to audit subcontractors relevant to TAI Hamburg deliveries.
